How can I invite friends to get a bonus?

You should send the candidate your referral link*, which can be generated on the referral program page.

*Remember: the candidate should register via your link within 3 months since the link was created, otherwise the recommendation becomes outdated.

I invited my friend to Skyeng, but he did not use my referral link, and registered independently. Will I get a bonus?

Unfortunately, no. Oral recommendations are difficult to track and verify, so we do not provide a bonus for them.

What do I do after I send a referral link to my candidate?

After that your candidate should register using the link and follow the further instructions.

What should I do before sending a referral link to my candidate?

Tell him about the company. Make sure that he is interested in trying himself as a teacher. If he is ready, feel free to give the candidate your referral link for registration.

What happens when my candidate clicks my referral link?

Your candidate will be taken to our website where he can submit an application for teaching at Skyeng. After that we will credit your recommendation, and you will be able to track the candidate's status in the statistics on the referral program page.

What do the candidate’s statuses mean?

In progress — the candidate has successfully registered and is currently passing the selection.

Reserve — the candidate has passed the selection and will be invited when the recruitment for a specific course begins.

Refusal — the candidate did not pass the selection.

Success — the candidate has successfully passed the selection process and has been submitted for adaptation.

Out of date — the candidate has failed to reach the “Success” status during the 6 month period (180 days) after the referral link was created.

Can my recommendation become outdated?

Yes, it can. The candidate should register via the referral link within 6 months since the link was created, otherwise the recommendation will become outdated. After that any other Skyeng contractor can invite him again and receive a reward.

In order to get a bonus for the recommendation, make sure your candidate has registered within 6 months after the invitation and used your referral link to apply.

What do I get for participating in the referral program?

You will get 2000 rubles for each successful recommendation. The bonus is credited to the referrer once for 1 referral (after the start of classes with students), regardless of the number of subjects he will teach.

How do I know that my candidate has started teaching?

Your candidate's status in the statistics will change to "Success". Follow the updates on the referral program page.

My candidate has already completed the schedule and profile, but I have the status «In progress» displayed. Why?

This status will change when the invited teacher conducts the first lesson.

My candidate started teaching. How and when will I receive my bonus?

The payment period is two times a month (by the 10th and 25th day, depending on the period of successful transfer to adaptation).

My friend has already tried to become a Skyeng teacher, but did not finish the selection/was rejected. Will I get a bonus if I invite him?

Not if less than 6 months have passed since the recommendation. In all other cases, we recommend you to contact us by email support.referral@skyeng.ru.

Can I invite a candidate who doesn't know Russian, but speaks excellent English?

Sure. A special referral link is generated for such candidates.

I want to recommend a candidate for the position of introductory lesson manager. How can I do this?

Follow the link of the referral program of the sales department and register your candidate there. If you have any questions, write to the Slack channel #referral-program and to Yaroslav Timoshenko.

Can I recommend a friend who has already been invited to Skyeng by myself or another teacher again?

Yes, if it was recommended more than 6 months ago. In all other cases we recommend you to contact us by email support.referral@skyeng.ru.

What happens if a candidate who has already applied to Skyeng independently registers using my link?

Such recommendations are not counted.

What happens if a candidate clicks on two different referral links?

We will count the recommendation to the one whose link the candidate uses first. We may need screenshots of your correspondence, which shows the fact and date of transfer of the referral link to the candidate.

I sent my referral link to a friend, but he didn't show up in my statistics. Why?

There are several possible reasons:

• your friend did not register for the role of a teacher;
• he used the «Incognito» mode or cleared the browser Cookie before registering;
• previously, he had already registered for the role of a teacher in Skyeng;
• it has already been recommended by someone else before you;
• there was a technical problem.

To find out exactly what happened, please contact us at support.referral@skyeng.ru. Be sure to specify the candidate's first and last name and personal email address. We may need to confirm the transfer of the referral link to the candidate (screenshots of the correspondence, which shows the fact and date of transfer of the referral link from the referrer to the referral).

It's been a long time since my candidate started teaching, and I still haven't received my invitation bonus. What should I do?

If you know for sure that the referral is already teaching, and you have not received a payment for it, write to us at support.referral@skyeng.ru.
In this case, we may need to confirm the transfer of the referral link to the candidate (screenshots of the correspondence, which shows the fact and date of transfer of the referral link from the referrer to the referral).

My candidate has registered but doesn't know what to do next/has encountered a technical problem. Help him!
